Charles, thank you for your comments.

I have much respect for Dr. Geisler. I have recently been reading his book co-authored with Frank Turk titled "I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist." Very good stuff!

The late Dr. Henry Morris has had a humble and far-reaching influence in the scientific community. I have read many testimonies of scientists who have committed their lives through faith and repentance in the Gospel of Jesus because of the work of Dr. Morris' ministry. I am certain that Mr. Geisler is only one of many who have attempted to persuade Dr. Morris of the "error of his ways." Were Dr. Morris still living, I would imagine his version of the story would be that "he" tried to "correct" Norman.

The first question I'd have would be to ask you to explain how the young earth position can "hinder" people.

Secondly, I would ask you to describe to us how Dr. Geisler would explain the millions of years of death, decay and disease that existed in the perfect world that God created before the fall of Adam into sin. In my estimation, that view is much more likely to undermine the message of the Gospel.

I look forward to your remarks. Thanks!

I was just at a conference with Geisler. He said, "those who hold to the young earth position hinder people from coming to Christ." He said he tried to correct henry morris, but was not successful

Thank you both Robert and Andrew. You are each very dear to me and my family.

Please, don't merely read these as they are posted but ask questions. If a question pops into your head or something there doesn't make sense, it will likely be true for someone else as well. That will give me an opportunity to explain or correct myself.

I love you guys and your families!
