As indicated in our tagline, we desire this blog to be a powerful tool to exercise what we believe about God and His Word. Our knowledge of the Truth can only be strengthened by exercising it. We believe this medium has afforded a unique and effective way to exercise this knowledge by engaging others through written dialogue. However, the WWW is not the only place to put that knowledge into practice. We must practice it in everyday life. Saying we know something to be true and putting what we know to be true into practice, are two different things.
Also, it will never be our intention to communicate in such a way as to appear as though we have completed the sanctification process. We still have much to learn and desire to remain teachable all our days. Our hope is to sharpen our family’s knowledge in an effort to help us better PRACTICE godly holiness.

Bert, Michelle, and Family;
I hope this blog serves you in every way possible. You are all very loved by alot of people, so I can see the possiblities of them responding to your requests and comments.
However if you don’t get the response you hoped for, don’t be discouraged. I have tried many blogs before with limited response. It seem like people don’t have (or make) the time to post responses these days. So don’t take it personal.
I rarely have taken the time to tell you, or my church family, how much you mean to me. I have been told that I sometimes come off as cold or distant, and I guess that’s true. If everyone could see into my heart instead of the frown on my face (working on that too), then they would surely see the love of our saviour is there. But that’s not going to happen on this earth.
While I may not totaly understand every word in the Bible, and even misuse a quote every once in awhile (like on our website). This can be improved or be used by our Lord, as a witness of “look if this guy can do it anyone can”; Ha ha.
Well I’ll close with the comment of I like what you are attempting here, and look forward to more comments about you and your family. While Bible studies are great, we can find those all over the internet, but there is only one of you.
I thank God for you & your whole family, even Larry! LOL!

Hey there Bert and Michelle. I am a blast from Bert WAY past. I lived in Dale City, Va right around the corner from you all. I was good friends with your younger sister Brett. (Well, That is if this is the Bert Lace I was looking for.)
The reason for my not is that I am trying to reconnect with my faith. So what I am doing is checking in on a few families I remember being faithful from my childhood, just to see if their faith is still mentioned in their adult lives.
I am soooo happy to see how wonderful and fullfilling your lives have become. It is a true testament to the love of the Lord and the love of you church family.
Thank you,
Michelle
