This is great! I love being able to see you guys and know what you’re doing! Since catching you guys to talk on the phone is tough….I still feelin informed in a personal way! Happy Birthday to Bert!
Hey just saw the pics of your new additions. They are beautiful! I can’t believe this is happening so fast. We prayed for you guys at church last night.
WOW! We were touched by the Susans message. We will definately pray for you guys and Susan tonight! God is doing some great stuff in Ethiopia. We love you guys and the kids miss their cousins. Every so often Claire asks about them. Love you guys!
I don’t know how I stumbled on this blog. It must have been the hand of the Lord leading. I was looking at Cedarmore to see what was going on and somehow I ended up here. You have a wonderful family and I admire your following the Lord’s bidding to do what you did.
How are things going at Cedarmore? From what I saw on the website it looks you are doing well. We have still been doing volunteer work but have not gone anywhere during the summer for the last few years. We still work at Lake Yale in FL in Feb. or March. We work locally at Camp Pinnacle and Ridgecrest.
It was great to see the pictures and read about your experience. God Bless.
My name is Matt St. Pierre. I serve with the Christian Alliance for Orphans, which is a coalition of more than fifty respected Christian ministries committed to adoption, foster care and global orphan care. We’ve really appreciated some of your blog posts on this front, and wanted to ask if you’d be willing to be a part of an effort we’re now organizing.
A core goal of the Alliance is uniting believers to work together on these issues and to speak with a united voice on behalf of orphans. As we’ve seen through recent initiatives like Orphan Sunday, our voice and impact is far more powerful when we’re interconnected and working in unison.
So, we wanted to ask if you’d be willing to be part of our “Bloggers for Orphans” team. All that would involve is us sharing with you an occasional (rarely more than once a month) issue or opportunity that you could choose to highlight on your blog. These would likely range from ways individuals can become more involved in orphan issues (such as Orphan Sunday or the annual Alliance Summit) to newly-released data on orphans. There’d be no obligation—just an occasional email, and our appreciation. You could certainly feel free to cut-and-paste things we share…or give it your own language and analysis…or not use it all.
